Best toothpaste I've ever used
I've been a Biotene fan for about 5yrs now, first using the traditional product. I found my mouth is a lot cleaner and no funky bad breathe tastes for up to 24hrs, something I don't get from traditional toothpastes. About a year ago I discovered the new PBF formula, which seems to be almost 2 times more effective then the old formula. I now use both the PBF toothpaste and the PBF mouthwash and I swear by them. There is a faint taste to these products that reminds me of banana Runts candy, which I like. Don't let Biotene's niche marketing fool you, you don't need to suffer from dry mouth for this product to be effective (I don't). The reason they market it this way is because it contains synthetic proteins that your mouth produces naturally, those who have dry mouth need the extra amount of them. But the great news for everybody else is these proteins are much more effective at fighting cavities than normal toothpaste components. Years from now other companies will wise up and...

Best Ever!
I have Sjogren's Syndrome (dry eye, dry mouth, dry everything). I thought I had tried every product that Biotene made but this toothpaste is incredible. The product is listed as "PBF" and there is a mouth wash with this same designation that is also far and away the best of their mouthwashes. I never would have found this product in my small town but I am thrilled to have found it on Amazon and the price is in the same range as the other Biotene toothpastes. It is not only gentle on the tissues but actually makes my teeth feel clean. For 7 years, I've been "babying" my teeth but never felt they were actually clean. The regular Biotene formulas were doing a good job according to the dentist, but I was never happy with the results until this one. I do hope they continue to make this for a long time.

Biotene tooth paste and mouthwash
This stuff really works! Used together with Biotene mouthwash as directed, they have dramatically reduced the amount of plaque that builds up on my teeth. In the past, I have required a one hour dental prophylaxis appointment every 4 to 6 months to clean my teeth, but there is no accumulation after 5 months since I started to use these items as directed.

This product is truely amazing, and I don't say this lightly.If your pet has tartar build-up, you should try this; I promise you, you will be glad you did.Two and a half years ago we found a small poodle on our back porch. I took her to the vet for a check-up, and he estimated her age to be around 9. We were never able to locate her owners, and have come to believe that she was put there by someone who could no longer care for her. Her cataracts were so bad, that she could not see. I have managed to clear them up somewhat with another product.Her teeth have had some amount of tartar ever since, in spite of having her on another product that is added to her drinking water.Unwilling to put her through the danger of anesthesia to have her teeth cleaned by the vet, the last time the other product ran out, I came online to order more, and stumbled on this product.That was only a month ago.Her teeth now have almost no tartar left, and I fully expect...

works well
I used to use Leba but decided to try PetzLife because it was less expensive and found that it also works better than Leba. My dogs are ~70 lbs each so each gets 5 squirts instead of Leba's 2 squirts but my dogs don't mind the extra squirts (just squirt fast!), the cost per application is still cheaper, and bottom line is that it works. It works as long as the spray gets in their mouth but sometimes I try to spray it on the teeth that show more buildup (especially those way in the back) and have seen those get cleaner too. I used to brush their teeth but got lazy. I bet brushing once in a while with a dry brush (no toothpaste) would get their teeth even cleaner!

I have used Periosupport in the past and found it to work well and it was easy to give to the dogs. However this spray seems to work better. 5 of my 7 dogs tolerate my spraying their mouths daily. 2 of the 7 HATE it and it quite a struggle to use it. It seems to make the tarter softer and easier to get off when I scrape their teeth. It seems to prevent a tarter build up. I have used it over a month now and would recommend it if you have dogs that are going to let you handle their head/mouth easily.

This is one of only a few pet toothpastes that does not have dextrose in it. I'm so glad that I found a pet toothpaste without dextrose. I've been using it about 5 days per week on my dog for about a year now. The results are good. It definitly helps his teeth. I greatly prefer this toothpaste for my dog over CET.

What a great product!
I have three dogs, and they all adore this toothpaste. In fact, I had brushed the teeth of dogs 1 and 2, and was working on number 3. When I turned to put the top back on the tube, it was gone! Dog number 2 had stealthily stolen it and was trying to figure out how to get more toothpaste out of the tube. She managed to puncture the tube, and spread a two-inch strip on the lawn, which all three dogs then squabbled over which would get to lick it up. Now they all look forward to their daily tooth-brushing. I don't need to pry open their jaws. Caveat: as soon as I begin to brush, the dogs simultaneously lick their teeth like crazy, but this isn't really a problem. The odor is pleasing to me, too, I couldn't be more pleased.

Dog finds taste appealing
The Cain & Able KissAble Toothpaste has passed the taste test with my labrador retriever. She likes to lick it out of the tube and tolerates me putting it in her mouth. I would recommend this vanilla flavored product. We had a unpleasant experience with some mint flavored toothpaste in the past. She did not like the smell of it and was extremely unhappy when I put it in her mouth (spit, coughed, gagged, salivated and more). It was quite a show. She left the room and wouldn't come back.

Works..
This toothpaste is nice an thick and lasts longer than others. I have used this since 2002 along with the mouthwash and they work for me. I use it as a whitener by leaving it one for about half an hour before I actually brush. It is NOT harsh and does not hurt a bit. I refuse to use any other product but this.

Be sure to get all the way back to the molars, which is where most of the plaque will be. If your dog is older and reluctant to let you clean his teeth with a toothbrush and toothpaste, there are other, new ways to do this.
