One of the Few Remaining Toothpastes with Natural Fruit Flavor That's Not Too Sweet.
I bought Tom's of Maine Silly Strawberry toothpaste, because it's one of only two remaining fruit flavors. I can't stand sweet toothpastes. Tom's of Maine apricot was the perfect toothpaste for me. It had a light, fresh apricot flavor that was like a hint of real fruit without being sweet. Then the company changed the formula to taste artificial and sickening sweet. Then they got rid of apricot entirely, along with their lemon-lime flavor. Now Tom's of Maine makes ELEVEN different mint flavors and two fruit. I thought Silly Strawberry would be too sweet, as it is made for children, and strawberries are a sweet fruit. But I was desperate. It's not as sweet as I thought it would be. Silly Strawberry tastes like bubble gum but less sweet and real strawberry, not artificial. It doesn't foam as much as the big brands, but this is not SLS-free, so it does foam some. My only complaint is that it has a slightly chalky aftertaste, but that doesn't bother me much. It comes in a...

Naturally Great
I have been buying this toothpaste for the last couple of yeara, and my kids absolutely love it.It is sooo much better than the "bubblegum" and "bubblefruit" flavors that other kids toothpaste comes it.No artificial sweeteners is also a plus! The kids seem to like the Silly Strawberry the best, but my daughter enjoyed the Outragous Orange Mango.NOW in a plastic Tube! Which is great for the kids since they like to squeeze the tube from the center. Though I loved the metal tube (reminded me of when I was little)

Kid-approved SAFE tooth paste
I'm really pleased with this tooth paste. Like it's named, it's really more of a gel than a traditional paste. I bought it because it is rated favorably by the Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep database as having safe ingredients and you know kiddos swallow the tooth paste when brushing. My 3 year old tells me it's 'delicious', so there you have it. I have used the kind you get at the drug store (I think by Orajel with Little Bear on the tube??) and also Earth's Best, but I never got such a good reaction to those brands. I'll buy this product from now on. Top to learn more

The flavor is nice
The flavor is nice. My daughter seems to like it, and I personally tasted it and enjoyed it. The texture is off, however. Its too thick compared to the kids toothpastes we're used to. It might just be me, but its pretty hard to get it evenly distributed on my daughter's teeth. It'd be nice to see a flip top lid, as well. The current lid is a screw off lid (with a metal tub! I haven't seen that since the early 80's!) and its just kind of hard to juggle an ornery, hyper kid and load a toothbrush while having to screw off a lid at the same time. Its a minor complaint, I know, but its important to me. Top to learn more

Best Toothpaste for Children
I found this toothpaste at the store about one year ago and will only trust this toothpaste. The other children's toothpaste can't compare to the benefits and results of using this. My child has had many dental problems (cavities) and when she started using this brand she had great dental visits without any cavities and her teeth and gums are healthy. Sadly though, I have gone all around town looking for this brand and have not found it anywhere so now Amazon will get my business for this product. This is the only brand I trust for my child's teeth and highly recommend this for all children to promote healthy oral hygiene. Top to learn more

great for kids and adults
I hate the adult version of this toothpaste. My dentist gave me a sample of this for me and my five year old. I love the childrens option...A LOT. The taste is very subtle, works extremely well and doesn't make us gag. The kid prefers the child flavors like grape and watermellon but also likes that he doesn't gag when he brushes his tongue. This is a great and versatile paste!! Top to learn more

Product Description
Protects your teeth from sensitivity and the effects of acid wear. Everyday foods such as fruit, sodas, orange juice and wine contain acids that soften the enamel surface which is then more easily worn away by brushing. As the enamel layer becomes thinner, teeth can become visibly less white and older looking. Use whenever you normally brush. Helps protect the youthful appearance of teeth. Formulated with low abrasively, balanced ph and an effective cleaning system. Has fluoride for cavity protection. Contains potassium nitrate clinically proven to relieve painful sensitivity within two weeks. Dentists have been recommending Sensodyne for over 20 years. Brushing twice a day with Sensodyne builds a shield of protections against painful sensitivity. And, since Sensodyne has fluoride, it helps protect against cavities too. Top to learn more

Best for kids and toddlers
Simply the best in the market for kids to protect against cavities. I use this for my toddler, who is good at spitting up the paste, than swallowing it, but I use less quantity than my older kid. Top to learn more

He Seems to Love the Taste.
Remember how you used to like bubble gum when you were a kid? Well, I certainly do. I'd get a big chunk of it and chew and chew until the flavor was all gone. Then I'd get some more. Well, as an aging adult I just can't stand bubble gum. What's the deal? Why do all kids seem to like bubble gum?In any case, we now have a boy approaching three and it's essential that we get him into a teeth-brushing habit. It's difficult. My wife has tried several tricks and here's one that seems to work. She brought home this Kid's Crest bubble-gum flavored toothpaste. He loves it. I ran out of toothpaste the other day and tried brushing with it. Ugh! It was awful! I could hardly wait to rinse out my mouth with Listerine. But hey, it's not for me it's to get the boy to brush his teeth and it seems to be working. The toothpaste contains flourides. There's a lot of warnings on the container about swallowing it. So far, that hasn't been a problem.Gary Peterson Top to learn more

Of course, you wouldn’t want your child to swallow toothpaste since children can swallow excessive amount of toothpaste every single day. A good way to determine the right age of letting your child use fluoridated toothpaste is checking if your child consistently spits out into the sink. Preferably, you should have your child drink fluoridated water as this will be good for teeth development until the child turns 18 of age.
An aspie may answer this question with a yes or a no but actually the real question being asked is. “Your breath stinks, will you go and deal with it. ”. We need to teach our children to interpret these types of questions. Brush texture and pressure Many children with Asperger’s syndrome have “sensory issues” and certain types of toothbrushes will send shivers down their spine. I was asked if I could put a gadget on this blog from a site called Love Your Teeth which will help children bush their teeth. If your child has problems with one brush, don’t keep forcing them to use it. Try other brushes. I figured that the best way to get it to fit into the site’s topic is to talk about the problems that children and adults with aspergers syndrome may have with this task. Our children (and adults) with aspergers won’t always realise that (a). they have bad breath and (b). that it can offend people. Knowing when to stop How do you know when to stop brushing your teeth. The reason that I’ve broken this up into so many steps is that children with aspergers don’t always pick these things up naturally just by watching others. In her book “The parents guide to teaching kids with aspergers syndrome and similar ASD’s real life skills for independence” (reviewed very soon), author Patricia Romanowski Bashe suggests that kids sing happy birthday through twice in their...
