Excellent for the chewing toddler.
Now these might be for slightly bigger kids, buy my toddler who got all of his first 16 teeth by 9 months, these are a godsend. I wish I had found them sooner! If you have a toddler that likes to chew on the bristles as he learns to brush, get these, they will outlast the other baby ones, which have softer bristles and a chewy toddler will go through them in days if not a week or two... mine did! These are a bit firmer, but still soft enough to give you a good gentle brushing for a toddler. He can chew on them and they don't seem to loose their shape, which was the problem with the others. You'd think I had used the other ones to scrub out the sidewalk, the way they would end up. So if you are tired to buying new brushes for your toothy, chewy toddler. go for these.

Good toothbrush , suctino cup additional advantage
Its tough to make my 2.5 year old daughter brush. With suction cup, there is some help to allow her to play with that action.Brush quality is good and, and it is soft, but may be not too soft, allowing better brushing without hurting her mouth.

Excellent and functional!
I had tried two other toothbrush brands for my toodler before this: the which is really not a toothbrush, as the bristles are too widely spaced to be of any use for effective toothbrushing. I also tried the which proved to be equally ineffective and a waste of money.I decided to give the Veggie Tales Silly Songs Brush-a-long Musical Toothbrush a try, and I am really glad I did. The MOST annoying song, EVER!
I was warned. I read the reviews. I honestly thought, "Surely, no song could be so annoying that hearing it twice a day from two toothbrushes would be a horrible thing." I was wrong. I have nearly four year old twins and I cannot explain the cacophony that fills the bathroom once in the morning and once at bedtime. It's horrible. Really. I am not exaggerating.I don't really understand the words they're singing; all I hear are the voices of Larry and Bob screaming out a few lines of several different tunes. It's loud. It's really annoying and really loud. And my kids LOVE to push the button to make it sing. It's not just the fact that I'm praying for it to end, either...the song lasts a long time. Long enough that the kids get bored with brushing long before it's done screeching.So. It's a toothbrush and it gets my kids' teeth clean. It serves it's purpose. But for sheer hatred of the song on this thing I have to ding it down to a 3 star rating...

Fantastic product for kids
I have been using Philips Sonicare toothbrushes for years and years. I've owned several as I've worn them out over the years and as they have improved the design. I was excited to see that they have a model specifically for kids and wondered what the differences might be.The toothbrush is almost the same as the Sonicare I currently own for myself. The similarities are:1.) Different power levels for different users (in the case of the kids' brush one setting for ages 4-7 and one for ages 7-10.2.) Quadrapace timer- the children's version has a musical tone every 30 seconds to let your child know to move to the next quadrant of her mouth.3.) Ramped up power and time- the feeling of a Sonicare is a little off-putting to some people at first as it can cause a kind of tingling in the mouth from the rapid vibrations. My Son-In-Law, The Dentist, Likes This!
This is probably the first time I'm able to post an early review for a "Vine" Product, and I feel priveliged to do so!My (step) son-in-law, a dentist, gets to "preview" items like this, and already has his three children using it. (Ages: 10, 8, 6.) So I KNOW this is a great item. (Hey, Dentist endorsed :>)He used to manually brush their teeth for them, (just to be sure they were brushing correctly), but switched them to these electronic models (via professional samples) since he believes they do a more thorough job, and the kids really enjoy using them. Because of the unique handle design, he was still able to "guide" their brushing until they got the hang of it (which didn't take long, even for the youngest), and until he was sure they were using the device as it's meant to be used.The power-modes on the brush (I've listened and watched) are SOMEWHAT quieter than models like this meant for adults (I use a Phillips Sonicare ProResults--love it, but...
